Reports of hospitalization
TMZ reported on Friday that the comedian was taken to the hospital after a possible suicide attempt. Carrot Top’s representative did not specify either the reason for the hospitalization or the performer’s condition.
Carrot Top has had a residency at the Luxor for 21 years. At the time of publication, his performance at the venue scheduled for Monday remained on the calendar. The comedian is known for acts featuring humorous props and has appeared in the films Chairman of the Board and Pauly Shore Is Dead, as well as in the series CSI, Reno 911! and Hacks.
