Following the Russian attack, the Chornomorets Stadium in Odesa sustained significant damage. The published images show holes in the stadium roof, damaged bleachers, and shattered windows.
The strike on the sports facility occurred on the afternoon of August 7. According to local authorities, at least one woman was injured as a result of the attack. Information regarding the extent of the damage is still being verified.

The attack took place on the eve of the Ukrainian Premier League’s second-round match between “Chornomorets” and “Kolos.” The game was scheduled to take place on August 8 at 1:00 p.m. at the Odesa stadium.


After assessing the damage caused by the blast, the stadium management decided to reschedule the match. The UPL reported that the decision was made due to force majeure circumstances. A new date and time for the match will be determined at a later time.
Serhiy Krasilenko, deputy head of the Odesa City Military Administration, spoke about the consequences of the enemy attack on Odesa, specifically the strike on the stadium.
