As of June 1, 2026, Ukrainian defenders have repelled 49 assaults by Russian forces in the Pokrovsk sector. Fighting in this sector of the front remains among the most intense.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Over the past 24 hours, 276 combat engagements were recorded. Ukrainian defenders are steadfastly holding back the occupiers’ advance, inflicting significant losses on the enemy.
The military continues to resolutely repel the enemy’s attempts to advance deeper into our territory, inflicting effective fire damage on them.
The enemy carried out 86 airstrikes, including the dropping of 264 guided bombs. Additionally, the invaders deployed 8,557 kamikaze drones and carried out 3,114 attacks on populated areas and our troops’ positions, 55 of which were carried out using multiple launch rocket systems.
The aggressor carried out airstrikes, specifically targeting areas near the settlements of Luzhky, Pustogorod, and Vilna Sloboda in Sumy Oblast.
Over the past day, the Defense Forces’ aviation struck three command posts and four areas where enemy personnel were concentrated.
In the Northern Slobozhansky and Kursk directions, eight combat engagements took place over the past day. The enemy carried out 80 attacks on the positions of our troops and populated areas, including four attacks using multiple launch rocket systems.
In the Southern Slobozhansky direction, the enemy launched 12 assaults on our units’ positions in the areas of Lyman, Veterinarne, Kolodyazne, Synelnykove, and Starytsia.
In the Kupiansk direction, our defenders repelled three enemy attacks in the areas of Shyikivka and Kupiansk.
In the Lyman sector, Ukrainian soldiers repelled eleven attempts by the invaders to advance near Kopanok, Novomykolaivka, Dibrova, Stavky, Drobysheve, Lyman, and Ozerny.
In the Sloviansk direction, over the past 24 hours, our defenders repelled six attempts by the occupiers to advance in the areas of Kryva Luka, Kaleniky, Nykyforivka, and Rai-Oleksandrivka.
In the Kramatorsk sector, our defenders repelled one enemy attack near the village of Tykhonivka.
In the Kostiantynivka sector, the enemy carried out 14 attacks near Kostiantynivka, Ivanopil, Rusyn Yar, Mykolaivka, Pleshchiivka, and Stepanivka.
In the Pokrovsk direction, our defenders repelled 49 enemy assaults in the areas of Vilne, Dorozhne, Bilytske, Rodynske, Oleksandrivka, Hryshyne, Shevchenko, Molodetske, Novopavlivka, Novooleksandrivka, Serhiivka, Kotlyne, and Udachne.
In the Oleksandrivka sector, the enemy attacked twice in the areas of the settlements of Tovste and Verbove.
In the Huliaipole sector, the occupiers carried out 43 attacks in the areas of Zaliznychne, Vozdvyzhivka, Olenokostyantynivka, Huliaipole, Charivne, Verkhnia Tersa, Rybne, Tsvitkove, Novoselivka, and Varvarivka.
In the Orikhiv direction, the enemy attempted ten times to breach the defenses near Shcherbakiv, Bilohirya, Nesterianka, and Stepnogorsk.
In the Dnipro direction, Ukrainian units repelled one enemy attack toward the Antonivsky Bridge.
In the Volyn and Polissya sectors, no signs of enemy offensive groupings were detected.
In total, over the past day, Russian invaders suffered 1,410 casualties. In addition, the Defense Forces destroyed four tanks, two armored combat vehicles, 50 artillery systems, one multiple launch rocket system, nine ground-based robotic systems, 1,852 unmanned aerial vehicles, 384 vehicles, and five pieces of specialized equipment.











In the Kherson region over the past day, 21 people were wounded as a result of Russian shelling, and the region came under massive attacks by drones, artillery, and aircraft.
Over the past 24 hours, Russian troops carried out 911 strikes on 40 settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region. The occupiers used aircraft, artillery, and hundreds of drones, damaging residential buildings, vehicles, and infrastructure.
