Lavrov stated that he sees no potential negotiating partners for talks with Ukraine

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov stated that Moscow is allegedly ready for negotiations to end the war against Ukraine, but does not see any willingness to engage in dialogue on the Ukrainian side.

According to Lavrov, the Russian side has repeatedly declared its readiness for the negotiation process, but cannot find partners for dialogue.

“We have repeatedly stated that we are ready to negotiate regarding Ukraine, but we do not see a willingness to engage in dialogue from the other side. We cannot find anyone on the other side with whom we could engage in dialogue,” said the head of the Russian Foreign Ministry.

Meanwhile, the day before, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy declared his readiness for any format of negotiations to achieve peace, including a direct meeting with Putin.

“I am ready for direct negotiations with Putin to end this war, rather than waiting in line until everyone else has resolved all the conflicts in the world and then it’s our turn,” the president emphasized.

Putin is not changing course and continues to fund the war.
