Hungary will revoke asylum for Polish politicians wanted by the police

Peter Magyar, leader of the Tisa Party, stated that Hungary’s new government will revoke political asylum for foreign politicians wanted by law enforcement agencies.

Specifically, this refers to Polish politicians Zbigniew Ziobro and Marcin Romanowski, who were granted asylum during Viktor Orbán’s administration.

“I don’t think they should be buying furniture at IKEA, because they won’t be here for long,” Magyar said.

He also urged them to return to Poland and prove their innocence in court.

In addition, Magyar stated that a similar approach would be applied to former North Macedonian Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski.

The politician accused Orbán of worsening relations with Poland and emphasized that restoring these ties would be one of the new government’s priorities.

Péter Magyar is the first cousin of the former president of Hungary and the grandson of a judge

Mátyás called on Orbán’s puppets to resign.
