Latvia's Minister of Defense delivered 14 armored vehicles to the Ukrainian Armed Forces
During his first official visit to Ukraine, Latvian Defense Minister Raivis Melnis personally handed over 14 armored vehicles to servicemen of the 3rd Army Corps. This is the first batch of CVRT armored vehicles, which were previously in service with the Latvian Army’s Ādaži Mechanized Infantry Brigade.
In total, the Latvian government plans to transfer 41 such vehicles to the 3rd Army Corps. During a meeting with Ukrainian defenders, the head of the Defense Ministry emphasized that these armored vehicles will significantly improve the combat capabilities of units in the fight against Russian aggression and help save the lives of soldiers on the front lines.
