The Russian Ministry of Defense has sent out instructions to officers on how to search for bombs under vehicles
The Russian Ministry of Defense has issued special guidelines to Russian military personnel on how to protect themselves from potential assassination attempts, urging them to alter their appearance (wear glasses, change their hairstyle, and grow a beard), to stop using their own vehicles, and to refrain from accepting suspicious packages.
The growing concern among Russian military leadership stems from a series of murders and assassination attempts on high-ranking officials in Moscow and the Moscow region over the past year and a half, as well as the recent explosion at a restaurant on Barrikadnaya Street, where Russian Aerospace Forces Commander Chaiko may have been present.

The death toll from the explosion at a general’s birthday party in Moscow has risen.
The explosion may have been directed against the commander-in-chief of the Russian Aerospace Forces, Alexander Chaika, who was reportedly celebrating his 55th birthday at the restaurant that evening, however, Russian authorities have not confirmed this information.
