The Ministry of Internal Affairs will investigate the actions of the police officers who fled the scene of the shooting in Kyiv

A video has surfaced online showing police officers fleeing from a gunman during the terrorist attack in Kyiv on April 18, leaving civilians—including a child—unprotected.

Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko has already responded and instructed the head of the National Police of Ukraine, Ivan Vyhovskyi, to conduct an internal investigation into the actions of the police officers during the terrorist attack in Kyiv and to provide all information to the State Bureau of Investigation.

“To serve and protect” is not just a slogan. It must be backed up by appropriate professional actions. Especially in critical moments when people’s lives depend on it,” Klymenko emphasized.

In the Holosiivskyi district of Kyiv, a man opened fire on people.

Journalist Vitaliy Glagola has released new details about the attacker who opened fire in Kyiv.
