A shooting incident occurred during school hours at an educational institution in the Uzhhorod district.
This was reported on the police website.
According to police, a 9th-grade student pulled out a gun during class and fired two shots, one of which wounded his classmate. After the incident, the minor fled but was later apprehended by law enforcement.
Medical personnel examined the victim—his life and health are not in danger. Preliminary reports indicate that the weapon was a non-lethal firearm and has been seized by the police.

Law enforcement is investigating all the circumstances of the incident, including the source of the weapon and the student’s motives. The legal classification of the incident is also being determined.
