The Netherlands has signed a partnership agreement with Ukraine and will invest 248 million euros in the joint production of drones.
This was announced by Dutch Prime Minister Rob Jetten.
According to him, the country will continue its military support for Ukraine on a long-term basis and deepen cooperation in the defense sector.
In particular, the parties plan to more actively integrate their defense industries, develop new technologies, and ramp up production.
Jetten emphasized that the €248 million investment will go toward the joint production of drones with the participation of Dutch companies.
He also stressed that Ukraine’s fight against Russian aggression is a shared cause and pledged continued support and pressure on Russia alongside allies.
The Dutch government is allocating an additional aid package of €248 million to provide the Ukrainian army with modern drones. The announcement was made by the country’s defense minister, Dilan Yesilgöz-Zegerius, at the latest “Ramstein” meeting.
Meanwhile, Germany is enhancing Ukraine’s long-range capabilities through joint drone production.
