New mini-squares have been set up in Kyiv on the site of the dismantled small architectural forms

Since the beginning of the year, district-level public utilities responsible for maintaining green spaces have created six new “pocket parks” in the capital. In creating these public spaces, city authorities are focusing on modern approaches to landscaping, urban improvement, and accessibility principles. 

This was announced by Valentin Mondriyevsky, Deputy Head of the Kyiv City State Administration. The official emphasized that these cozy areas near residential buildings provide additional comfort for residents to relax and take walks with their children. The development of such a network of small green spaces in various districts of Kyiv is currently continuing actively.

Meanwhile, a petition to the Kyiv City Council demanding a halt to the demolition of temporary structures until the end of martial law has received the necessary support for official consideration.
