Partisans of the “ATESH” movement destroy Russian electronic warfare systems near Sevastopol

Agents of the underground movement “ATESH” carried out a successful sabotage operation in the area of temporarily occupied Sevastopol.

This was reported by the ATESH partisan movement on Telegram.

The underground operatives managed to completely disable key communication and electronic warfare facilities used by the occupiers.

The action was timed to coincide with the “Day of Resistance to the Occupation of Crimea”, demonstrating the vulnerability of Russian military infrastructure.

The main target of the partisans was a tower equipped with specialised electronic warfare (EW) antennas near the settlement of Honcharne.

These technical systems had been creating significant interference for Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles operating in this sector.

The operation made it possible to neutralise enemy equipment that had long been obstructing reconnaissance and strike missions.

To carry out the plan, ATESH agents set fire to relay cabinets located at the base of the metal structure. This is where the power electronics and high-frequency cables that sustain the system are concentrated.

“When they are damaged, the antennas at the top turn into useless scrap metal: the signal simply does not reach them,” representatives of the movement emphasised.

Specialists note that restoring such high-value equipment is an extremely complex and lengthy process.

As a result of the professional actions of the underground movement, the operation of Russian suppression systems in the area was completely halted.

This made it possible to create a favourable air corridor for the further use of drones by Ukraine’s Defence Forces.

Earlier, ATESH recorded a Russian camp in Myrne.

The movement also provided the coordinates of the construction of a new Russian military base near Melitopol.
