“Atesh” provides coordinates of new Russian military base construction near Melitopol
The Ukrainian partisan movement “Atesh” has reported the construction of a new Russian military base in the village of Myrne, Zaporizhzhia region, currently under occupation.
According to the partisans, construction equipment is operating at the site, and the building of a field camp for personnel of the Russian Armed Forces’ 291st Guards Motor Rifle Regiment is nearing completion. The area is under round-the-clock surveillance, indicating preparations by Russian forces for potential offensive actions.
The partisans also noted that special attention is being given to the creation of a training cluster for drone operators. This suggests that Russia intends to strengthen its military presence in the area.
“Atesh” stated that the construction is being closely monitored and promised that instead of new barracks, the occupiers will receive a “fiery greeting.” The movement remains active behind enemy lines, passing information and coordinates to Ukraine’s Defence Forces.
Earlier, agents of the underground movement “ATESH” carried out a successful sabotage operation in close proximity to the Ukrainian border in Russia’s Belgorod region.
It was also previously reported that “ATESH” discovered a graveyard of Russian military equipment near Sevastopol and conducted reconnaissance of the Bryansk Electromechanical Plant, which manufactures electronic warfare systems for the Russian army.
