Russia struck a facility in the Chernihiv region
On the night of May 31, Russian occupation forces launched a massive drone attack, resulting in the death of a 58-year-old man in the Koryukivka district of Chernihiv Oblast.
This was officially reported by the press center of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (SES).
An enemy unmanned aerial vehicle struck the territory of one of the local enterprises.
In total, the enemy deployed 229 attack drones of various types across Ukraine that night.
Air defense forces demonstrated high effectiveness, destroying or neutralizing most of the aerial targets using electronic warfare systems.
However, it was not possible to avoid damage and casualties in the Chernihiv region due to debris and direct hits.
According to rescue workers, a large-scale fire broke out in a parking lot at a civilian enterprise following a direct strike by an enemy UAV.
