"Servants of the People" will hold a separate meeting regarding the nominee for defense minister
The “Servant of the People” parliamentary faction will hold a separate meeting after the appointment of Ukraine’s new prime minister to discuss the candidate for the position of defense minister.
This was announced by Olga Vasilevska-Smaglyuk, a member of parliament from the ruling majority. According to her, the faction meeting will take place after the vote on the new government.
“There will be a separate meeting of the ‘Servant of the People’ faction following the vote on the defense minister. After the vote on the new government,” Vasilevska-Smaglyuk noted.
At the same time, during the plenary session of the Verkhovna Rada, no official statements were made by the leadership of the parliament or the faction regarding the holding of such a meeting.

As a reminder, on July 16, the Verkhovna Rada appointed Serhiy Koretskyi as Prime Minister of Ukraine. His nomination was supported by 289 members of parliament.
Ukrainian MP Yaroslav Zheleznyak has revealed the likely composition of the new Cabinet of Ministers, which Serhiy Koretskyi may head. At the same time, a final decision on some of the candidates has not yet been made, particularly regarding Fedorov.
Zelenskyy had also previously stated that he had not yet made a decision regarding Fedorov’s future in the government.
