London court rules ban on Palestine Action group lawful – The Guardian
The UK Court of Appeal ruled that the British government’s decision to ban the pro-Palestinian group Palestine Action as a terrorist organization is entirely lawful due to its open support for and promotion of violence.
Five senior judges of the Court of Appeal overturned a previous ruling by the High Court in London, which in February had deemed the ban a violation of free speech following a lawsuit filed by the movement’s co-founder, Huda Ammori.
Presiding Judge Sue Carr emphasized that the organization is secretive, evades prosecution, and advocates the destruction of property and the infliction of bodily harm, which amounts to terrorism. Palestine Action gained notoriety for attacks on Israeli-linked defense companies in Britain, after which it was banned under anti-terrorism legislation last year. The organization’s co-founder, Huda Ammori, has already announced her intention to appeal the current court ruling to the UK Supreme Court.

The UK, together with international partners, has imposed sanctions against organizations and individuals suspected of supporting violence by Israeli settlers against Palestinian communities in the West Bank. Financial institutions, companies, and individual network members have been targeted, and their assets will be frozen.
