In Britain, there is talk of Starmer's possible resignation — The Times

Members of the British government may call on Prime Minister Keir Starmer to draw up a plan for his resignation and set a timeline for the transfer of power.

According to media reports, during private meetings, several ministers are expected to tell the prime minister that his political capital has been exhausted and to propose beginning an “orderly transition” to new leadership.

According to sources, Energy Minister Ed Miliband and Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood have already expressed this position.

Amid these discussions, Andy Burnham, who has recently strengthened his political standing, is being cited as one of the leading contenders for future leadership of the Labour Party.

Meanwhile, Starmer is planning a series of meetings and talks with government officials and Members of Parliament to secure support and retain his position as prime minister.
