In Chernihiv, one of the Russian “Shahed”-type attack drones struck an administrative building in the city center.

According to the Chernihiv City Military Administration, air defense systems were active in the city this morning, shooting down drones heading toward the city. It was later reported that an administrative building had been struck.
The Ukrainian Air Force had warned of the threat: “UAV heading toward Chernihiv from the east.”
City authorities clarified that there were initially no casualties, but the explosion shattered windows and damaged doors in the building. Damage to a nearby apartment building was also reported.
Later, the situation worsened due to repeated attacks. Authorities reported new strikes on the city.
“Today, the enemy is constantly attacking the city’s administrative buildings. As of now, one person has been wounded,” noted the head of the Chernihiv City Military Administration.
Subsequently, another wave of strikes was reported.
“The enemy has launched repeated strikes on the city. According to preliminary information, two people have been injured. They are receiving all necessary medical care,” he said.
City authorities confirm that the attacks are continuing, and new damage is being reported in the central part of Chernihiv.
On the night of April 14, Russian occupation forces carried out a large-scale attack on Ukrainian territory, using missiles and over a hundred drones.
