The first nationwide Marun Hub space for military personnel and civilians has opened in Dnipro

The 7th Rapid Response Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces' Airborne Assault Troops has announced the launch of a nationwide network of civil-military spaces called "Marun Hub."

This was reported in an official press release from the organization.

The first such multifunctional space officially began operations in Dnipro, becoming a hub for interaction between soldiers, veterans, and the civilian population.

The newly created space brings together under one roof an educational venue, an exhibition area, as well as modern spaces for recruitment and collaboration to repel the aggressor.

The grand opening ceremony of the hub was attended by military personnel, veterans, volunteers, as well as representatives of leading media outlets, businesses, and city and regional authorities.

Guests had the opportunity to learn about the center’s main areas of work and discuss plans for the further development of the network in other regions of Ukraine.

Brigadier General Yevhen Lasyichuk, commander of the 7th Rapid Reaction Corps of the Airborne Forces, addressed the attendees via video link.

“This space will serve as a unifying point for our large airborne family and a bridge between the military and those we protect. We created it to be a place for meetings, communication, learning, and development, where our soldiers and their families will feel supported,” the commander emphasized in his speech.

According to him, such spaces help effectively maintain a connection between the front lines and society.

During the event, lectures on national identity and military consciousness were held by representatives of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv—Natalia Kryvda, Chair of the Ukrainian Cultural Foundation, and Rena Marutyan, Director of the Institute for National Resilience and Security.

The issue of veterans’ return to civilian life was discussed at a special panel discussion by Andriy Postavnyi, head of the Civil-Military Cooperation Department of the 7th Corps of the Airborne Forces, and representatives of the veteran community.

Anton Malyi, Head of the Veterans Policy Department at the Dnipro City Council, shared his thoughts on the project’s significance for the region.

“This is a very important event for Dnipro, as a significant portion of the servicemen and veterans of the 7th Corps are from Dnipro. Upon their return, they will reintegrate into the community, work, and help develop the city,” the official emphasized.

The initiative to create the hub was also welcomed by Vitaliy Pogrebenko, Deputy Head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration, who separately noted the importance of involving young people in such spaces.
