In Kyiv, warehouses belonging to the publishing houses Ranok and Shche Odnu Strichku were damaged in a Russian attack

On May 14, the offices of the publishing houses "Ranok" and "Shche Odnu Storinku" were damaged in Kyiv as a result of a Russian attack.

Specifically, damage was sustained by Ranok’s logistics center and the warehouse of the publishing house “Shche odnu storinku,” which is part of the same publishing corporation.

This was reported by Chytomo, citing a Facebook post by the publishing house’s CEO, Viktor Kruglov.

The "Ranok" logistics center houses an electrical substation, which was put out of commission as a result of the strike; diesel generators were also destroyed. The publishing house’s employees were not injured.

Urgent orders from readers are being redirected to a backup warehouse, and the online bookstore is scheduled to resume operations on May 15.

The online store of the "Shche Odnu Storinku" publishing house is based at the publisher’s warehouse, which was also damaged by the Russian attack, so order shipments will be delayed. The publishing house reported that neither employees nor books were harmed. Due to the lack of power, the warehouse continues to operate on a generator.

In Kyiv, a soldierin the North-Western Military District threatened to blow up a building and commit suicide.

In the Darnytskyi district of Kyiv, a Russian Kh-101 missile, which struck a residential high-rise on the night of May 14, pierced the building and detonated on the lowest floor. According to a government official, while clearing the rubble, rescuers found rocket debris in the basement. It was the explosion in this part of the building that caused massive destruction of the reinforced concrete structures and significant damage to the building.

Russia cynically called the massive attack on Ukraine a “retaliatory strike”

Over 21,000 customers were left without power due to the Russian Federation’s attack in the Lviv region

As a reminder, overnight, the Air Defense Forces managed to neutralize 693 aerial targets, including 41 missiles and 652 unmanned aerial vehicles of various types.
