Video: The Kyiv Territorial Recruitment Center discusses the mobilization of men at their homes
A meeting of the Temporary Investigation Commission on Defense and Anti-Corruption is taking place in Kyiv on Friday, May 15. During the meeting, Valery Kravchenko, Acting Deputy Head of the Kyiv City Temporary Investigation Commission and Special Operations Unit, answered questions posed to him.
UA.NEWS correspondent reports from the scene.
Kravchenko commented on recent events in the context of mobilization measures. According to him, under current Ukrainian law, the state has the right to conduct public announcements in all public places.
In addition, he effectively announced an intensification of mobilization efforts in Ukraine, particularly in Kyiv. Kravchenko explained that citizens subject to mobilization may be notified of this at their residential addresses—that is, in their own apartments—or at their places of work.
At the same time, the Kyiv Territorial Mobilization Center emphasized: if direct contact with a person cannot be established during notification efforts at their residential address, coercive measures will not be applied at that address.
He emphasized that TCC and police personnel avoid confrontations with so-called draft dodgers but have the right to carry out compulsory mobilization.
