The popular Deruny Festival in Korosten has been canceled
The annual Deruny Festival in Korosten, scheduled for September 12, has been canceled due to the security situation and the risk of Russian shelling in the Zhytomyr region.
This was announced by Natalia Chyzhevska, deputy mayor of Korosten. She emphasized that the organizers were forced to make this decision because the safety of visitors is the top priority.
Despite the cancellation of the public festival, city officials encouraged tourists to visit Korosten when the opportunity arises and noted that visitors can sample local deruny at the “Viola” farmstead in the village of Synhai.
