The Kremlin has announced the terms of the meeting between Putin and Zelensky
Russia has stated that Vladimir Putin is ready to hold talks with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
At the same time, according to Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov, such a meeting should take place only at the final stage of negotiations and yield concrete results.
This is reported by Russian propaganda media.
The main thing is the purpose of the meeting. Why meet? Putin said he is ready to meet in Moscow at any time. The main thing is that there be a reason to meet, and the main thing is that the meeting be productive, and it can only be for the purpose of finalizing agreements, Peskov noted.
It has become known that Ukraine has appealed to Turkey to help organize a summit-level meeting between President Zelenskyy and Putin as part of efforts to end the war.
“We approached Turkey directly. But if another capital—other than Moscow or Belarus—organizes such a meeting, we will attend… We also advocate holding the meeting right now to give new momentum to the Zelenskyy-Putin diplomatic track,” said Foreign Minister Andriy Sibiga.
