In Luhansk, the occupying forces sentenced a Polish citizen for fighting on Ukraine’s side

The so-called “Supreme Court of the LPR” has sentenced Polish citizen Krzysztof Flachek to 13 years in prison on charges of “mercenary activity.”

This was announced by the General Prosecutor’s Office of the Russian Federation.

According to the Russian investigation, in September 2024, Flachek arrived in Ukraine, where he received weapons, ammunition, and equipment, underwent training, and subsequently, for monetary compensation, allegedly participated in combat operations against Russian military forces.

In November 2024, according to the Russian side, he was taken prisoner during combat operations in the Chasovy Yar area of Donetsk Oblast.

A court of the occupation administration sentenced him to 13 years of imprisonment to be served in a maximum-security prison.

Additionally, in the temporarily occupied city of Sevastopol, Russian occupiers sentenced former Ukrainian Armed Forces soldier Ruslan Chorny-Shvets to 18 years in prison.

In Germany, a Russian man attacked Russian theater and film actor Artur Smolyaninov, who was added to Russia’s list of “terrorists and extremists” for condemning the full-scale invasion of Ukraine. An unknown individual used profanity against the actor and threatened to “tear him to pieces” when he arrives in Russia.

Soviet and Russian actress and singer Alla Pugacheva stood by her husband, Maxim Galkin, and asked the Russian authorities to add her to the list of “foreign agents.”
