Ukraine is sharing its experience in countering drones with the Baltic states and Romania
Ukraine is preparing teams of experts to travel to the Baltic states and Romania to share their combat experience in countering drones. This is not about formal consultations, but about practical knowledge that has already been tested in war.
Ukraine continues to transform its own military experience into a tool for international cooperation, and now this expertise will be shared with the Baltic states and Romania, where preparations are underway to address new challenges related to drones, which are increasingly becoming a key threat on the modern battlefield. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy made this statement during a joint press conference with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte, emphasizing that Ukrainian specialists already have well-established expertise in the detection, interception, and neutralization of unmanned aerial systems.
According to the head of state, Ukrainian expert groups are already being formed, and specific dates have been set for their visits to partner countries, where they will not only hold consultations but also share practical action plans that are directly applicable in combat conditions. “We will prepare experts for Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, and Romania. They are already preparing, and dates have been set for when our specialists will arrive and share their experience,” Zelenskyy noted, emphasizing that this involves real combat experience, not theoretical recommendations.
Separately, the president emphasized that Ukraine is ready to share not only knowledge but also technological solutions, in particular drone interception systems that have already proven their effectiveness in real wartime conditions.
In Kyiv, officials are convinced that such cooperation will allow partner countries to better prepare for potential threats associated with the widespread use of unmanned systems, which are rapidly changing the nature of security in Europe today. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced this during a joint press conference with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte.
