Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has officially confirmed the successful strike on a large oil refinery in the Moscow region, carried out by the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
This successful operation marked another step in the systematic destruction of the economic infrastructure that funds the Russian war machine.
The head of state emphasized that the enemy facility was attacked using the latest domestic long-range weapons.
The President provided a detailed account of the geographical scope of the use of Ukrainian weapons and expressed his personal gratitude to representatives of all the special services and military units involved.
According to him, the coordinated work of Ukrainian intelligence officers and missile forces made it possible to deliver a precision strike against a strategic facility of the occupiers deep in the rear.
“This time, the Moscow region felt the reach of Ukrainian long-range capabilities. An oil refinery 500 kilometers away was struck. I thank the soldiers of the SBU, SBS, SSO, GUR, and the missile forces for their effective work. Russia must be forced to end the war against our people. And Ukraine’s long-range weapons are one of the key components of such coercion,” emphasized the President of Ukraine.
