Ukreximbank is closing its branch in Zhytomyr

The board of the state-owned Ukreximbank has decided to close its branch in Zhytomyr. November 2, 2026, has been designated as the branch’s last day of operation.

According to a disclosure filed with the National Securities and Stock Market Commission (NSSMC), the decision was made on July 29, 2026, as part of the transformation of the financial institution’s regional network and to improve its operational efficiency.

The branch performed informational and promotional functions and provided consultations to clients regarding cooperation with the bank’s business partners.

According to the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU), as of early June 2026, Ukreximbank ranked third in total assets (293.94 billion UAH) among Ukraine’s 58 solvent banks. During the second quarter, the bank had already downsized its network by closing five branches, leaving 18 operational branches as of July 1.
