Roman Chervinsky fired attorney Globu over a scandal involving money from fellow officers
Former intelligence officer Roman Chervinsky has terminated his collaboration with his attorney, Konstantin Globa. The decision was prompted by allegations that the attorney committed fraud, specifically by misappropriating funds belonging to military personnel and failing to provide the promised legal assistance.
Globa, who positioned himself as an advocate for military personnel, is accused of embezzling payments intended for a servicemember for participation in combat operations, after which he ceased all communication. In light of these events, Vasyl Vinnichenko, a veteran of the Azov Special Operations Forces and the National Guard of Ukraine, has taken it upon himself to defend the defrauded servicemember and his family, and has called on other potential victims of the lawyer’s actions to contact him for a legal assessment.
The servicemember involved in the conflict with Globa is Junior Sergeant Mykhailo Bohyu. Here is what he wrote on Facebook: “I, a servicemember of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and a combat veteran, was charged by attorney Konstantin Viktorovich Globa and members of his law firm—Olga Kukuyuk, and Marisa Skuba—took money to appeal the Medical Examination Commission’s decision, refused to sign a contract with me, and then stopped responding altogether and failed to provide any services. As a result, I lost money and precious time. I ask concerned lawyers and law enforcement agencies to assist in addressing this matter.”
In addition, information had previously been made public regarding Globa’s possible evasion of military service through a fictitious reservation at the Transcarpathian Territorial Recruitment Office, as well as public domestic scandals.
Previously, the wife of attorney Globa appealed to the Kyiv prosecutor and police leadership for protection from her husband.
Lawyer Kostyantyn Globa also caused a disturbance in downtown Kyiv while under the influence of unknown substances.
