Video: The Special Forces struck eight Russian air defense and radar facilities in the Kuban region
The Ukrainian Unmanned Systems Forces carried out a series of strikes on military targets in Russia’s Krasnodar Krai. Eight components of the Russian air defense and radar systems were targeted.
This was reported by the 1st Separate Center of the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ Unmanned Systems Forces. According to military sources, the operation was conducted more than 270 kilometers from the front line.
“Soldiers of the 1st Separate Center of Unmanned Systems Forces carried out precision strikes deep into enemy territory. In a single strike, the occupiers lost a number of key components of their surveillance and air defense systems,” the statement reads.
As noted by the SBS, the targets included the “Tor-M2” anti-aircraft missile system in Yeysk, the “Nebo-S,” “Gamma-S1M,” and “Nebo-SV” radar stations in Yeysk, the “Nebo-U” radar station in Primorsko-Akhtarsk, as well as the “Kasta-2E2” stations in Kamyshevatsk and Shabelsk and the “37T” radar station in Prygibsk.
The 1st Separate Center of Unmanned Systems Forces stated that such strikes are intended to make it more difficult for Russian troops to provide cover for airfields and launch sites for Shahed-type attack drones.

As a reminder, over the past 24 hours, as of August 2, 234 combat engagements were recorded on the front lines between the Ukrainian Defense Forces and Russian troops.
On the night of August 1, Russian forces attacked Ukraine with 133 strike and decoy drones of various types. Air defense forces neutralized 109 enemy drones, but strikes were recorded at 19 locations.
