On August 10, Russian forces struck Zaporizhzhia with a guided aerial bomb. The number of casualties has risen to 24, including a 10-year-old girl who is in critical condition.

 

This statement was made by Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration. At 10:53 a.m., Fedorov confirmed that the Russians had carried out a new airstrike on the city.

“Cars are on fire, and a private home has been damaged: these are the preliminary results of the enemy’s attack on Zaporizhzhia. The Russians dropped a guided aerial bomb on the regional center,” he specified.

Around 11:15 a.m., the head of the local Regional State Administration reported that three civilians had been injured. In addition, it was reported that the fire had engulfed several vehicles.

At 12:19 p.m., the number of casualties from the enemy attack on Zaporizhzhia rose to four; notably, a child required medical attention. Around 1:10 p.m., Fedorov confirmed that there were already 13 known casualties in the city.

“Among the injured is a 10-year-old girl who is in the hospital in serious condition,” the prosecutor’s office said in a statement.

The head of the regional military administration reported that the number of casualties had risen again.

“Unfortunately, the number of people injured as a result of the enemy attack on Zaporizhzhia has risen to 18,” Fedorov added.

According to him, medical personnel are already on the scene and are providing all necessary assistance. As of 1:53 p.m., the number of victims in the city had reached 24. It is also known that at least two children were among the victims.

Earlier, Russia struck Derhachi and destroyed dormitories housing displaced persons.

As a reminder, a gas station and a business were damaged as a result of a Russian attack on the Poltava region.

In Dnipro on Friday, August 7, a World Health Organization humanitarian warehouse was destroyed as a result of the attack. There were no people on the premises at the time of the strike, and no casualties were reported.

Over the past 24 hours, the occupiers lost 1,130 soldiers and more than 400 pieces of military equipment.

In the Kherson region, one person was killed and two were wounded as a result of Russian shelling.
