Armenia requests EU rapid response team to counter Russian influence
Armenia has appealed to the European Union to deploy a rapid hybrid response group aimed at countering Russian influence within the country. This initiative is important for safeguarding information security and supporting democratic processes.
Last year, during Moldova’s parliamentary elections, the EU sent a similar team of about 20 members who cooperated with Moldovan authorities to promptly identify and counteract disinformation spreading from Russia on social media.
This development may lay the groundwork for enhanced cooperation between Armenia and the EU in information security and defense against external interference.
