Gasoline production in Russia has fallen by a quarter due to attacks on refineries — Reuters

Gasoline production in Russia from June 15 to 21 fell by approximately 25% compared to the average daily figures for June 2025. According to Reuters sources, production volumes dropped to about 90,000 metric tons per day.

Amid fuel supply issues, Russian authorities have begun discussing the possibility of importing gasoline and diesel, as well as subsidizing them to keep prices in check. This issue was raised at a meeting chaired by Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak.

Due to the aftermath of attacks on oil refineries, restrictions on fuel sales are already in effect in several regions. In particular, Lukoil gas stations are limited to selling no more than 30 liters of gasoline and 60 liters of diesel fuel per customer.

In occupied Crimea, there are also reports of fuel shortages and the introduction of additional restrictions.
