The Ukrainian Navy struck Russian positions near the Kerch Bridge
Last night, Ukrainian forces carried out successful strikes on key Russian positions in the area of occupied Crimea. Near the Kerch Bridge, in particular, several Russian Navy vessels were hit.
This is stated in an official report from the Ukrainian Navy.
The Navy’s statement reads as follows:
On the night of April 30, 2026, Ukrainian Navy forces and assets struck Russian naval vessels in the Kerch Strait area.
As a result of the strike, the Russian FSB patrol boat “Sobol” and the anti-sabotage boat “Grachonok” were hit. The enemy suffered irreparable and medical losses as a result of the strike.
These boats are key units of the Coast Guard of the FSB Border Service and the Russian Navy, used to guard the Kerch Bridge and combat saboteurs.
This is yet another example of the effective work of the Ukrainian Navy and the consistent reduction of the enemy’s capabilities in the Black Sea.
As a reminder, on the night of April 23, drones from the SBU’s “Alpha” Special Operations Center struck the “Gorky” oil pumping station in Russia’s Nizhny Novgorod region. The attack caused a massive fire and resulted in damage to infrastructure.
In addition, the attack struck five oil storage tanks at once. On the night of April 21, drones from the SBU’s “Alpha” Special Operations Center struck the “Samara” line-production-dispatch station in Russia, after which a massive fire broke out there.
In the temporarily occupied Crimea, drones attacked an oil depot in the Kozacha Bay area of Sevastopol. The strike caused a fire.
On the morning of April 18, drones attacked an oil refinery in the city of Novokuybyshevsk in Russia’s Samara Oblast. The strike caused a fire at the facility.
