Zelenskyy imposed new sanctions, including against entities from Belarus

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has signed a new package of sanctions. Among other things, the restrictions apply to entities from Belarus.

Zelenskyy announced this in a video address.

“... I have signed yet another new package of sanctions for Ukraine—a substantial package—including measures targeting entities from Belarus. This is a signal to many of our partners regarding where to apply pressure in order to ultimately reduce the scale of this war and its intensity. Russia lacks goodwill. It must be compelled to take the necessary steps to reduce aggression, and let them later call these their ‘gestures of goodwill,’” Zelenskyy said.

He noted that Belarus must not be drawn into the war.

"There must be no operations against other European countries. There must be a dignified peace in this war between Russia and Ukraine," said the head of state.

Zelenskyy announced the launch of Ukrainian arms exports.

Ukrainian interceptor drones have already successfully destroyed several Iranian drones over the country in the Persian Gulf.

Zelenskyy: Russia is preparing new offensives and expanding mobilization.
