The Ukrainian Armed Forces have eliminated more than 1,200 invaders and three air defense systems on the front lines
Total combat losses among Russian troops since the start of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine—from February 24, 2022, through August 7, 2026—amount to approximately 1,455,420 soldiers. Over the past 24 hours, the Ukrainian Defense Forces have eliminated another 1,210 Russian servicemen.

According to the General Staff, as of August 7, 2026, Russian forces have suffered the following losses:
- personnel – approximately 1,455,420 (+1,210 in the past 24 hours);
- tanks – 12,247 (+1);
- armored combat vehicles – 25,098 (+11);
- artillery systems – 47,522 (+67);
- multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS) – 2,008 (+2);
- air defense systems – 1,550 (+3);
- aircraft – 439 (+0);
- helicopters – 354 (+0);
- operational-tactical-level unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) – 447,855 (+1,589);
- cruise missiles – 5,007 (+0);
- ships and boats – 34 (+0);
- submarines – 2 (+0);
- Vehicles and tankers – 131,068 (+386);
- specialized equipment – 4,502 (+6);
- ground-based robotic systems – 2,152 (+14).
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine emphasizes that these figures are subject to change.
Thus, over the past 24 hours, the Russian army has suffered significant losses, including more than 1,000 soldiers, dozens of artillery systems, and more than 1,500 drones.
There were 170 combat engagements on the front lines over the past day. Russian troops launched the most attacks in the Pokrovsk direction, where Ukrainian forces repelled 23 assaults. According to preliminary data, 31 invaders were killed and eight more were wounded in this sector of the front.
According to the General Staff, there were no significant changes in the situation on other fronts. Overall, Russian troops continued to apply pressure on several sections of the front over the past 24 hours.
