Hyundai Unveils the Design of the New 2027 Tucson
Hyundai has unveiled the design of the next-generation Tucson crossover, which will hit the market as a 2027 model. The car features a more angular, robust body with pronounced edges and H-shaped lighting elements at the front and rear, according to Motor1.
The new Tucson is larger than the previous version. Its length has increased by 60 mm to 4.7 m, and its wheelbase has grown by 30 mm to 2,785 mm. The crossover’s width has increased by 40 mm to 1,905 mm, and its height by 20 mm to 1,685 mm.
The increased dimensions are intended to provide more interior space. Hyundai claims an additional 29 mm of headroom for rear-seat passengers. Also, the rear doors now open to an angle of up to 83 degrees—10 degrees more than on the previous-generation model.

The Tucson’s interior has been completely redesigned to accommodate the new Hyundai Pleos multimedia system. The dashboard features a large central display, with a row of physical controls retained below it. A separate, narrow instrument cluster screen is positioned above the dashboard within the driver’s field of view.
Hyundai has not yet disclosed the technical specifications of the new Tucson, other than the vehicle’s dimensions. Sales of the crossover in South Korea are set to begin later this year, while the model is expected to debut in other markets in 2027.
