Successor to Volkswagen ID.4 and ID.5 will get a Tiguan-style design
Volkswagen is preparing a successor to the ID.4 and ID.5 electric crossovers, whose design will be much closer to that of the internal-combustion-engine Tiguan. A partially camouflaged vehicle was shown by German YouTuber Autogefühl, according to InsideEVs.
More rectangular shapes
The video shows more upright and rectangular shapes at the front of the body. The rear has also been substantially redesigned, receiving clearer geometric lines typical of modern Volkswagen models.

Germany's IG Metall trade union stated that the new model would be called the ID. Tiguan, but Volkswagen has not confirmed this. The full presentation of the electric SUV is expected on October 9.
