Ram sold out the base Rumble Bee through March 2027 in 24 hours — Motor1
Ram sold out the available allocation of the base Ram 1500 Rumble Bee pickup version through March 2027 within 24 hours of opening orders. As Motor1 reports, buyers reserved the allocation for the entire 2026 calendar year even faster — in 90 minutes.
The automaker will prioritize customer orders that have already been placed within the available allocation. Ram CEO Matt Vandyke said the model's sales pace indicates buyers' interest in performance pickups with Hemi V8 engines.
Base version specifications
The Ram 1500 Rumble Bee has a starting price of $62,790 including delivery. The vehicle is equipped with a 5.7-liter Hemi V8 Eagle engine producing 395 horsepower and 410 pound-feet of torque. According to Ram, the pickup accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in 6.1 seconds and completes the quarter-mile in 14.6 seconds at 93 mph.

The model has active all-wheel drive, but a button next to the transmission selector allows the front axle to be disconnected and switched to rear-wheel drive. The engine in this version did not receive the eTorque mild-hybrid system or a start-stop system. It is paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission.
Frame and body
The Rumble Bee became the first Ram 1500 to combine the smaller Quad Cab with a short cargo bed. Ram said it removed 13 inches of frame between the axles, giving designers more freedom in creating the pickup's exterior. The vehicle's overall length is 219.5 inches, or 5.57 meters.
