A 9-year-old boy died while playing in the Kyiv region
A 9-year-old boy died while playing in Borodianka, Kyiv Oblast.
This was reported by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine and the Kyiv Regional Police.
The tragedy occurred on a sandy embankment where children were digging tunnels. During a sudden landslide, the child was buried under the rubble.
Rescuers pulled the boy out from under the sand unconscious; medics attempted to resuscitate him, but were unable to save him.
According to preliminary data, three other children aged 11, 12, and 13 were present at the scene along with the victim.
Law enforcement officials have opened a criminal investigation and are determining the full circumstances of the tragedy.
On April 17, Russian troops again attacked Zaporizhzhia with drones. Seven people, including a child, were injured in the attack. Residential buildings and vehicles were damaged in three districts of the city, and fires broke out.
As a result of an attack by Russian military strike drones on Cherkasy on the evening of April 14, an eight-year-old boy was killed, and twelve other people sustained injuries of varying severity.
