An official at a Kyiv municipal enterprise was notified of being named a suspect in connection with an overpayment for equipment
An official at the municipal enterprise “Traffic Management Center” was notified of being named a suspect in connection with a possible overpayment of nearly 1.9 million hryvnias during the purchase of equipment. In July 2025, the enterprise purchased two plotters with a total cost of nearly 3.7 million hryvnias.
However, the cost of this equipment, which was purchased from a sole proprietor, was significantly inflated. According to an expert assessment, the company overpaid by nearly 1.9 million hryvnias, causing damage to the city budget in that amount. One of the managers of the municipal enterprise “Traffic Management Center” signed the contract in question.
Under the procedural guidance of the Podil District Prosecutor’s Office of Kyiv, he was notified of his status as a suspect in the embezzlement of the enterprise’s funds during the purchase of printing and graphic equipment.
