Court Returns Unfinished Hospital in Kyiv to the State
The Kyiv Commercial Court granted the prosecutor’s office’s claims and returned to state ownership a portion of the unfinished Republican Clinical Hospital, which had previously been transferred to private companies.
According to the investigation, during the bankruptcy proceedings of the state-owned enterprise, the unfinished hospital buildings, with a total area of over 150,000 square meters, were sold to commercial entities at an undervalued price.
Pursuant to the court’s decision, the state registration of the private companies’ ownership rights to more than 140,000 square meters of the unfinished construction project was revoked, and the property was returned to state control.
The lawsuits were filed by the Kyiv City Prosecutor’s Office on behalf of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.
