The Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center has issued a warning of ground frosts of 0–2°C in Kyiv on the night of April 24, which corresponds to the first danger level. Forecasters emphasize that such weather conditions could damage early-blooming fruit trees.

Tomorrow, the capital is expected to have cloudy weather with some sunny intervals and no precipitation, accompanied by a northwesterly wind of 7–12 m/s. The air temperature at night will be 1-3°C, and during the day — 10-12°C. Due to the spring cold snap, apricot crop losses could reach 40-60%, and peach losses — 30-50%, leading to shortages and rising prices. The central and southern regions, where orchards bloom earliest, have been hit hardest. Weather forecasters had previously warned of dangerous and extreme weather events in Ukraine.
