On the morning of July 8, a Russian drone exploded near a gas distribution station in Kyiv. Emergency services are on the scene, and experts are assessing the consequences of the attack and checking the condition of critical infrastructure.
This was stated in a statement by Mayor Vitali Klitschko.
“In the Desnianskyi district, according to preliminary information, an enemy UAV crashed and exploded near a gas distribution station,” he said.
According to Klitschko, emergency services are currently heading to the site of the explosion.
As a reminder, on the night of July 8, Russian troops launched a missile strike on Kyiv, resulting in the death of a woman.
Cleanup efforts are ongoing in Kyiv to contain the oil spill caused by the Russian attack.
