In Kyiv, the number of people injured in the drone attack has risen to 41

In Kyiv, the number of people injured in the Russian drone attack on September 23 has risen to 41, with at least two people killed. The air attack by enemy drones on the capital continues.

The strikes caused fires and destruction in several districts of the city. In the Solomyanskyi district, UAV debris fell between buildings, causing a fire on the grounds of a transportation company, and also struck a store and a nine-story non-residential building. In the Holosiivskyi and Darnytskyi districts, warehouses, a business center, a gas station, and transportation infrastructure facilities were damaged.

On the morning of September 23, Russia launched a massive attack on Kyiv using strike drones. Hits and falling debris were recorded in several districts of the capital; fires broke out, and there are fatalities and injuries. 

Klitschko also reported damage to the capital’s civilian and transportation infrastructure. The extent of the attack and the number of casualties may be updated.

Separately, a fire was reported at the “Shayba” market near the train station. According to Ukrzaliznytsia, the station building was not damaged.

Amid the strikes, passengers were urged to avoid Ukrzaliznytsia facilities.

Due to the heightened air threat, Kyiv City Express service was temporarily suspended in both directions this morning. “Ukrzaliznytsia” also reported that one of its employees, who was returning home after his shift, was injured.

In addition, a Ukrnafta gas station in Kyiv was completely destroyed following a Russian attack.
