Internet outages occurred in Kyiv following the Russian Federation's attack FAUST

Following the Russian strike on the “Protasov” business center in Kyiv, some subscribers of the internet service provider FAUST lost their internet connection. The Cosmonova data center is located on the complex’s premises; however, the exact causes of the outages, their extent, and the timeline for restoration have not yet been confirmed.

 

In Kyiv, following the Russian strike on the “Protasov” business center on September 25, reports are coming in of internet outages affecting some FAUST subscribers. Local public groups and media outlets are reporting on the connectivity issues. According to preliminary data, the outages may be related to problems within the complex where the Cosmonova data center is located.

Following the strike, some FAUST users lost internet access. However, there is currently no official information on exactly how many subscribers are without service. It is also unknown at this time which specific addresses may be without internet access and when service will be fully restored. The exact cause of the outages has not yet been determined. It has not yet been confirmed whether the issue stems from damage to data center equipment, communication lines, or power supply problems.

FAUST and other relevant agencies have not yet released data on the scale of the problem or the projected timeline for restoration. As of the evening of September 25, it is known only that some FAUST subscribers experienced internet outages following the strike on “Protasiv.” The exact causes and consequences for network operations should become clear after the damage is assessed. Local public groups and media outlets are reporting the outages.

A 14-year-old boy who was killed during the Russian attack on Kyiv on the morning of September 25 was an Israeli citizen. His mother was also injured in the strike. This was reported by the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which condemned the Russian attack.

In Kyiv’s Solomyanskyi district, four people were killed when an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) struck an office building. Seven others were injured in the attack.

In Kyiv, traffic on Vadym Hetman Street has been blocked due to the enemy strike. 

The number of casualties from Russian attacks in Kyiv has risen, including one child.

As a reminder, in Kyiv’s Dniprovskyi district, a residential area was destroyed as a result of a Russian attack on September 24. According to preliminary information, there were no fatalities among the residents.

Also, in Obolon, a UAV crashed onto the grounds of a garage cooperative.
