In Kyiv, the death toll has risen to 16 following a Russian strike

The death toll from the Russian strike on Kyiv has risen again and now stands at 16 people, including two children. Rescue workers continue to work at the scene of the tragedy, clearing debris and searching for survivors. The updated figures were reported by the State Emergency Service.

Information about new victims is coming in as emergency rescue operations continue; they have not yet been completed. “There are already 16 fatalities from the Russian strike in the Darnytskyi district of Kyiv, including 2 children,” the SES noted.

There are 170 rescuers, 51 pieces of equipment, SES psychologists, and three K-9 units working at the site, continuing to search for people under the rubble.

Russia cynically called the massive attack on Ukraine a “retaliatory strike”

Over 21,000 customers were left without power due to the Russian attack in the Lviv region

As a reminder, overnight, the Air Defense Forces managed to neutralize 693 aerial targets, including 41 missiles and 652 unmanned aerial vehicles of various types.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that Russia’s massive attack on Ukraine is not accidental. In this way, Russian leader Vladimir Putin is attempting to divert the world’s attention from international events, particularly U.S. President Donald Trump’s visit to China.
