Kyiv issued its fourth air raid alert in 24 hours

On Monday, March 30, 2026, at 2:04 p.m., air raid sirens sounded in the capital due to the threat of ballistic missile attacks. This was the fourth air raid alert since the start of the day.

This was reported by the Ukrainian Air Force.

The statement noted: “Missile threat across all of Ukraine! A MiG-31K has been detected taking off from the Savasleika airfield (Nizhny Novgorod Oblast, Russian Federation).”

The takeoff of the MiG-31K fighter jet signals a potential threat of hypersonic missiles, specifically the “Kinzhal” type.

At 2:26 p.m., the air raid alert was lifted in Kyiv. Thus, the danger lasted 22 minutes.

As of today, Ukraine is in its 1,496th day of Russia’s full-scale invasion.

As a reminder, the Ukrainian Cup quarterfinal match between Chernihiv and Phoenix-Mariupol, scheduled for March 17, was canceled due to the prolonged air raid alert. The match has been postponed indefinitely.
