A traffic accident occurred on Sobornosti Avenue in Kyiv after a wheel fell off one of the cars while it was moving. The car lost control and crashed into another vehicle, resulting in injuries, according to a UA.News correspondent.
A traffic accident occurred on Sobornosti Avenue in the capital, triggered by a mechanical failure while driving: according to eyewitnesses, one of the cars suddenly began to break down while moving, after which a wheel flew off, and the driver lost control. The out-of-control vehicle then skidded directly into another car traveling nearby.
Witnesses say both cars were traveling at the speed limit. The driver of one of the cars was seriously injured in the collision and was hospitalized; a female passenger also sustained injuries.
Police are on the scene, but they have not yet provided any official comments regarding the circumstances of the accident. Eyewitnesses add that, miraculously, no one among the people waiting for public transportation at the “Bereznyaki” stop was injured, as the crash occurred right next to it.
