In Kyiv, a minibus driver was fined because the roof of his minibus was leaking during the rain
In Kyiv, patrol officers issued an administrative citation to the driver of a minibus that was transporting passengers despite having a mechanical malfunction.
The reason was a video that went viral online, showing rainwater leaking into the passenger compartment through the roof while the vehicle was in motion.
After an inspection, officers from the Motor Vehicle Control Department identified and located the driver. He was prohibited from continuing to operate the minibus until the technical defects were fully repaired.
An administrative citation was also issued to the man for operating a vehicle with technical defects. The penalty under this provision is a fine of 170 hryvnias.
