In Kyiv, an 18-year-old woman fell into an unfenced pit filled with water: an investigation has been launched
In the Obolon district of Kyiv, an 18-year-old woman was injured after falling into a water-filled pit that was not properly fenced off.
This was reported by the Kyiv police.
The incident occurred on Ivasiuka Avenue, where workers from the emergency response team of the Kyivteploenergo municipal utility were conducting repairs due to a burst cold-water supply pipe.
According to preliminary data, the work site was not properly fenced off. As a result, the girl, passing by, fell into a water-filled pit and sustained a leg injury.
The victim was provided with the necessary medical care.
Investigators have opened a criminal case regarding the incident under the article on violations of safety rules during the performance of high-risk work.
